The House of Representatives passed H.R. 4 – the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 on April 27, 2018, to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for six years and provide long-term funding, stability and reform for the agency. NATA’s Rebecca Mulholland discusses the bill’s journey to passage, a last-minute attempt to include a similar privatization proposal, provisions sought by NATA that benefit the aviation business community, and what happens next.

Rebecca Mulholland represents the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) on Capitol Hill. Mulholland joined NATA in 2007 and has been successively promoted to her current position of Director of Legislative Affairs. In addition to her work on Capitol Hill, Rebecca is responsible for the association’s compliance with the rules and regulations relating to election law and lobbying activities. Mulholland is personally interested in aviation and has nearly 50 hours of flight time.
