In response to member and user feedback, NATA is revamping pricing for its industry standard Safety 1st program. In this edition, Shannon Chambers and Michael France discuss the origin and benefits of this exciting new program, including reducing the cost of employee turnover.
Michael France joined the National Air Transportation Association in March of 2009, and now serves as the association’s Managing Director of Safety & Training. France oversees the association’s education and training programs including the renowned Safety 1st program. Prior to this role, France was the Director of Regulatory Affairs where he handled issues relating to FBOs, airports, maintenance and the environment.
Prior to joining NATA, France worked with Volo Aviation in Manassas, VA, as a quality control and training coordinator. During his tenure at Volo Aviation, France was responsible for regulatory compliance issues and the development of operational manuals. France attended Ball State University where he studied chemistry education and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Education from Liberty University.
